The NSAF continuously strives to create the best quality meet experience for athletes, coaches, and parents. This year we are implementing automatic and provisional qualifying standards for all events.

Entry Limits & Automatic Standards

Each event has entry limits. Athletes who achieve the automatic standard after January 1, 2025, will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the event reaches capacity.

Provisional Entries

• Athletes who have met the provisional standard should enter right away. 

• When you have met the automatic standard, update your entry in the system. Our team will receive a notification and will accept the entry provided the event is not at capacity.

• Provisional entries will be reviewed throughout the entry period. We will begin notifying accepted athletes in late May and will continue until the entry deadline.

Emerging Elite to Championship

Athletes accepted into the Emerging Elite section are eligible to move to the Championship division. Once the Championship standard is met, you must update your entry with the Championship result link for review and acceptance. Entry into the Championship division will be accepted if the event has not reached capacity.

Important Notes

• Provisional entries are not guaranteed and the registration fees will only be charged if accepted.

• If an athlete qualifies for either Emerging Elite or Championship, don't delay registration. You can move from Emerging Elite to Championship once the standard is met, provided space is available.

• All entries require pre-authorization with a credit card, but fees are only charged for accepted entries. You'll receive an email notification when your entry is accepted.

• Please don't book travel unless you've received an acceptance email for your provisional entry.

• Athletes must submit all entries under one single affiliation: High School, Club, or Unattached. If you plan to compete with a team or on a relay, please submit an entry as either High School or Club, not Unattached. Switches from unattached to team-attached will not be accommodated. If you have a separate team and unattached bios, and you need to merge them, please follow THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
